Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CoachDesk, a workspace for K‑12 instructional coaches (the “Service”), operated by Jamelna. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using CoachDesk on behalf of a school or district, you agree to these Terms for that institution.

The Service

CoachDesk helps instructional coaches track coaching relationships, log check-ins and observations, collect artifacts, plan lessons, and share resources. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Accounts and eligibility

CoachDesk is intended for use by education professionals and the institutions they work with. It is not intended for direct use by children. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any law or the rights of others;
• upload content you do not have the right to share;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• use the Service to store data for which you lack the necessary authority or consent.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to CoachDesk, including notes, artifacts, and observations. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for your content and for having the authority and any required consent to upload it, including student information governed by FERPA and COPPA. Our handling of that information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the Service beyond the right to use it as permitted here.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You can export or delete your data as described in the app before terminating.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide additional notice through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the provider operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
